When I first began writing romance, I discovered a little group by the name of Avoiding Writer's Hell. I met my first editor/author Faith Bicknell-Brown through this site. She later became editor for my first published story, Whispers in the Wind, published in Freya's Bower One Touch, One Glance Anthology.  Along the way I joined AWH in hopes of learning more about the craft of writing. It's been a year since then, and I'm still learning. If you're looking for a place to ...
  • Learn
  • Enjoy camaraderie
  • Share your hopes, dreams, rejections, or just chat when your on Chatters
Then AWH is the place for you. It's what other writing groups, classes and forums are not. It's dedication, friendship, devotion, love, laughter, and A SAFE HAVEN to avoid the slings, darts, and jealousy. And now, through the new AWH Magazine, you can showcase to the whole world via online magazine format your interview, your short story, your poem, your review, your new cover, your excerpt, your tip, your website, your author showcase debut, and so much, much more!

Submissions to AWH Magazine is open to EVERYONE.

And best of all, the magazine is free.

Check out the first and second edition of AWH magazine at http://en.calameo.com/search.phpbut and decide for yourself.

Shades-of-Grey-300dpiI am pleased to announce that I have been offered a contract for my first stand alone title, Shades of Grey: Damien. This news came as the first gift of my Mother's day celebration, and what an awesome gift it was to receive.

Here's a little about Damien...Centuries ago vampire, Damien Grey lost the most precious thing in his life along with his ability to love. His nights are spent combing the city streets listening for those in pain who cry out for the swift relief of death. With hopes to cure his own inner demons, he gives them the peace they cannot give themselves, only to find his pain still exist.

What to read more? Visit my website for the continuation of this blurb to learn more about Damien, Karen and the little problem they have that goes by the name, Jackie Boy.

This is not the actual cover for the book. I always like to have a little inspiration around when I'm writing. It helps me to get into the heads of my characters. I leave the actual cover to the professionals. You know the people who know what they're doing. LOL

This is the new cover created by Ms. Valerie Tibbs. Check back with me later . I'll keep you posted on the release date.
